Chess for Recovery

FIDE Chess for Life is an innovative initiative aimed at supporting individuals with substance use disorders through the therapeutic benefits of chess. Currently under development, this project utilizes chess as a tool for personal transformation, promoting critical thinking, patience, and resilience among participants. By integrating chess programs into rehabilitation centers and community organizations, FIDE Chess for Life fosters a supportive environment where individuals can build essential life skills, enhance self-esteem, and create meaningful social connections, ultimately guiding them on their path to recovery.
